i think human being is really complicated (not only women), in a fascinating way; but stupid and stubborn at times too. if one believes in heaven and hell, i'm sure that one can't imagine how nice heaven is if you show one him heaven only. however, if you show him what hell looks like, i'm sure that the heaven in his mind will be a better place than before...the point i'm making here is, people take things for granted very easily. some might realize it when others try to warn them what will happen to them if they continue their take-things-for-granted attitude. but for others, which i think the majority of us are, we usually do not heed the warning, ignored it, and regret at the end of the day...
some wise people said, you do not learn a thing unless you experience it yourself, and you do not learn a thing unless you do it yourself. but for some cases, there are no turning back, and there are no second chances... this is the feeling which i got from this movie, although it should be a horror movie...
lastly, another thing that i heard from somewhere - "i would rather die believing in God and find that there is no God in the end, than die not believing in God and find that there is a God indeed..."
I have different view from you about showing the heaven and hell.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, if a person is shown about the heaven, it is enough. Because, if a person really see God (in heaven is to see God), surely he will know that how beautiful is heaven. And he will chase for the heaven in his life.
Just like some people said that, if you see the hell, you will die with fright. So, if a person who see the hell, though he never see the heaven, I think he will feel that, everywhere is just like heaven, if compared with the hell.
the point i am trying to say here is that people tend to have a greater sense of awareness when they are shown of the punishment instead of the reward. but nevertheless, what you said is true also. cause, lately, my faith is growing weak...pai seh. but seems like you are still doing good. keep up the good work ^^ and i will try to keep up also, hehe.
